Access Card Please be reminded to present your Access Cards (MAG card) for collection of transit passes at Star Cruises ports of call and collection of passports upon check-out. If you misplace the Access Cards, you should contact the Reception Desk on Deck 7 immediately to report the loss.
Activities Star Navigator, which lists the day's activities onboard, will be delivered to all cabins each day. There is a non-stop schedule of events from early morning until late evening, including exercise classes, sports and deck games, educational classes, and demonstrations such as cocktail making, sushi making, line dancing, and ballroom dancing. Star Navigator daily programmes will also advise passengers on meal times, operating hours of outlets and facilities, port arrival and departure times.

Baby Cot Please indicate request for baby cots when confirming your reservations.
Baby-sitting Child minding services are available at a nominal charge. The Charlie's Child Care Centre is fully furnished with a nursery, sleep and rest area, computer room and playground equipment for children to play and relax. The facility is located on Deck 10.
Baggage All passengers are allowed to bring two suitcases and one hand baggage (maximum weight is 50kg for all baggage). These must fit in their cabins as no baggage will be stored in the ship's hold.

Baggage Check-In
Please produce your Confirmation Slips to check in your baggage.
1.  Baggage Allowance:
Maximum 2 pieces of baggage per passenger, with a maximum total weight of 50 kg.
2.  Baggage Delivery:
Check-in baggage will usually be delivered to cabins within 30 minutes after sailing. If your clients have not received their baggage by this time, they should contact the Concierge on board.
3.  Oversized Hand Baggage Policy:
All oversized hand baggage will be required to check-in by passengers at the International Passenger Terminal (IPT) baggage check-in counters located at level 1 and 2.
(Acceptable hand luggage size is NO larger than 55cm x 40cm x 20cm)

Bars
1.  Bellini
Sip the finest champagne and varied selection of cocktails in this cosy champagne bar on Deck 8. This is the perfect hideaway from all the action and crowd. Perfect spot for tete-a-tete.
2.  Havana:
Located on Deck 8, this is a small and cosy area with large windows designed specifically for passengers to enjoy the dramatic view of the sea while sampling the beguiling taste of fine cigars. Cigars are available at the Duty Free shop.
3.  Taverna
Furnished in a Greek styled outdoor setting, the Taverna is a great place for passengers to relax and enjoy. It features a wide selection of International Beers, Island Cocktails and wines as well as a delectable selection from the grill. It is located on Deck13.
Beauty Services Oscar's Hair and Beauty Salon on Deck 12 provides professional and pampering beauty services. These include head-to-toe treatments and a wellness program using Aromatherapy. Advance appointments are preferred. Services are chargeable. Please check the Star Navigator daily programmes list for operating hours.
Boarding Before boarding, you will be required to show your passport & MAG Card. The passport will be retained for checking and verification.

Before Departing
1. Passage Restrictions
1.  Passage for pregnant women will only be permitted before their 24th week of pregnancy and must be accompanied by a doctor's medical certificate stating they are fit to travel on sea.
2.  Star Cruises reserves the right to refuse embarkation to any passenger whose medical condition is not made known to Star Cruises during reservations or prior to sailing and shall not be required to refund any portion of fare paid.
2. Vaccinations
1.  At the current time, no vaccinations are compulsory for any SuperStar Virgo's destinations. However, you may wish to consult your doctors to make sure that your immunization records are up-to-date.
3. Currency
1.  Most major foreign currencies are accepted on board the SuperStar Virgo at prevailing exchange rates. All the onboard services and prices are listed in Singapore Dollars.
2.  Limited Exchange Services are available from the Reception Desk on board. However, it is recommended that passengers exchange money in Singapore prior to boarding.
4. Credit Cards & Traveller Cheques
1.  Star Cruises accepts Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, JCB and American Express. You may, however, have to pay an additional fee to obtain the necessary authorization by satellite phone should the amount exceeds the onboard house limit.
2.  Star Cruises also accepts travellers cheques, but not personal cheques.
5. Luggage
1.  For your convenience, it is recommended that each passenger bring aboard not more than two suitcases (up to a maximum of 50kg per person) and one item of hand baggage. These must fit comfortably in their cabin, as no baggage will be stored in the ship's hold.
6. What To Pack
1.  With average year-round temperatures of about 30 degrees Celsius, you are recommended to pack lightweight summer clothes, with a light sweater or jacket for air-conditioned interiors.
2.  For shore visits, casual dress and comfortable walking shoes are appropriate . Visits to mosques and temples may require them to wear a hat or scarf. Of course, a swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion and a beach towel is a must. You should bring sportswear or gym gear if you are planning to play golf or work out, and definitely a camera and lots of film.
3.  Onboard Super StarVirgo, elegant casual dress is suitable for most occasions. For gala nights on board however, a lounge suit or jacket and tie for men, and a cocktail dress for ladies are necessary. It is preferred that shorts not be worn in any of food and beverage outlets. Proper footwear must be worn in all public places and on the pool deck. Facilities are available on the pool deck for passengers to change into their swimwear.
7. Insurance
1.  Passengers may enjoy Star Cruises' group insurance coverage while aboard the ship. However, it is recommended that passengers purchase their own travel insurance policies if they wish for additional coverage.
Beverages Beverages are chargeable at reasonable bar prices onboard, with an exception of those included in the buffet service. Please do not miss Star Cruises' daily cocktail specials!

Cabins
SuperStar Virgo has 1000 cabins and suites including specially equipped cabins for physically challenged passengers.
All cabins and suites have a private bathroom, remote-controlled digital TV, safe deposit box, in-house telephone telephone and hairdryer. Bathroom amenities like soap, shampoo and shower caps are available.
Suites have different themes, each featuring a spacious living room area, dining area, separate bedroom area and a spacious balcony with deck chairs. Each suite is also equipped with a mini-fridge, thermal flash, remote-controlled digital TV in the bedroom, living room and bathroom, CD Player and VCR. The large bathrooms also boast a Jacuzzi and a separate shower/toilet area. Bathrobes and slippers provide an extra touch.
Throughout the cruise, the friendly cabin stewards will keep the cabins fresh and clean, replacing towels and linens and assisting the passengers in anything else they need, such as ice or extra glasses, blankets and pillows.

For Passenger Staying in Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony and Suites :

Cabins for the Physically Challenged Passengers SuperStar Virgo has four cabins fitted for physically challenged passengers onboard. They are cabin no.#10137 & 10637 (Inside Stateroom) and #11129 & 11629 (Inside Stateroom). These cabins offer spacious accommodation with wider door ways and larger bathrooms with grab bars and folding shower seats.

Check-In Procedures
All valid passports must have at least 6 months validity from the actual day of sailing.
Passenger for pregnant women will be permitted before their 24 weeks of pregnancy.
Foreigners working or studying in Singapore, they must submit "Green Card" (Work Permit, Employment pass or Student pass) together with their passport.
For those "social visit pass" (tourist visa). Must submit "White Immigration Card" together with passport.
International Passport to be used only for ALL NATIONALITIES.
Permanent Residents - Passport with PR endorsement stamp inside.

The above service is valid for the week of departure only.
Due to security reason, baggage will NOT be accepted during City Check-in, as all baggage will be x-rayed and checked in at Singapore Port Institute Building (adjacent to Level 2 Harbour Front Centre, formerly known as World Trade Centre) on the day of departure only.
Passengers are required to bring their booking conformation slips together with the passports of all persons checking in. For foreign passport holders, please check with MISA Travel for visa's requirements for the ports of call on their cruise itinerary.

Note:
Distances from Changi Airport to Harbour Front Centre approx 25 mins and approx 15 mins from Orchard Road by Taxi (subject to traffic condition).
Communications All cabins are equipped with a private IDD phone. Faxes, postal services and satellite calls can be arranged at the Reception Desk. The in-cabin telephone can be used to make satellite calls with credit cards, communicate from cabin-to-cabin, or to arrange for shipboard services.
Concierge Passengers may contact the Reception Desk on Deck 7 for concierge services, baggage assistance or shore excursion information and bookings.
Conduct The Captain has the right to evict passengers from the ship in cases where their conducts affect the safety and comfort of other passengers. In these instances, Star Cruises accepts no liability for such actions or other expenses incurred by the passengers.

Disembarkation Please settle your onboard bills on the night prior to their disembarkation. In any event, you must settle your accounts the hours before disembarkation. In view of customs and immigration formalities, disembarkation will not take place immediately upon arrival.
Dress Code Elegant-casual clothing is suitable for most evenings. On Gala nights, more formal attire such as lounge suit or jacket and tie for men, whilst a cocktail dress or evening dress for women is recommended.

Electrical Appliances Power points in the cabin provide 220V. Bathroom power points provide both 110V and 220V. A number of adapters are also available upon request.
Elevator There are many elevators located throughout the ship. Passengers may explore the ship at their leisure.

Entertainment
Located on Deck 12, passengers can find a broad selection of the most popular card games for their entertainment. The Card Room has a seating capacity of 28. Please refer to the Star Navigator daily programmes list for opening hours.

Celebrity Disco
Extended entertainment can be found every night at the Celebrity Disco, located on Deck 13. This stylish discotheque plays great music from the 60s to the millennium and can accommodate a maximum of 81 passengers. Please note that passengers must be 18 years old and above in order to be admitted.
The Den
Located on Deck 12, this is a special designated smoking area. This gentleman's parlor adjoining Galaxy of the Stars features a varied selection of Cuban and Dominican Republic cigars and a fine choice of Cognac, Armagnac, Single Malts and Port.
Galaxy of the Stars
The Galaxy of the Stars on Deck 12 is an entertainment lounge with a maximum capacity of 384 passengers. Passengers can relax or dance to the music of our gifted musicians. Or they can simply sit down and enjoy SuperStar Virgo's special cocktails, whilst being entertained by our beautiful and talented performers. The Galaxy of the Stars will be opened from morning till late evening. The beverage list is encyclopedic-featuring " Constellation" cocktails, an extensive list of Martinis, classic cocktails, and flavored coffee.
The Library
SuperStar Virgo has a well-stocked Library on Deck 12 with a broad range of international newspapers, magazines and books displayed for our passenger's reading pleasure.

The Lido
This magnificent and grand two-deck showroom on Deck 7 and 8 is where passengers can catch the dazzling big production shows on a rotating circular stage. With a capacity of 934, passengers will surely be enthralled by the glamorous performances complete with slick special effects.
The Mahjong Room
Located on Deck 12 with a spectacular view of the ocean, this is an ideal place for a round of mahjong, chess, Backgammon and other board games.
The Picture House
Located on Deck 8, this cinema screens popular movies for the viewing pleasure of all passengers. Please check the Star Navigator daily programmes list for movie titles and screening time. The Picture House will also be available for corporate training purposes.
The Writing Room
This cosy niche is located on Deck 12. Around the ship, there are numerous shaded or sunny corners that are ideal for reading or writing, however if passengers prefer a quiet room to pen or reflect on their thoughts, this is the perfect hide-out.

Samson's
Located on Deck 12, Samson's is a steam and sauna room for gentlemen to relax in. Reservations are not required and towels will be provided.

Located on Deck 13, passengers can be air-lifted only in emergency cases.
Neptune's Wet 'N' Wild
Located on Deck 10, this is the children's water-theme park, Kids can enjoy swimming and playing in the pool area as Neptune's is designed with child safety in mind.
Parthenon Pool
Located on Deck 12, this striking outdoor pool area features one large pools, four Jacuzzis, one circular stage and ample deck chairs for sun-tanners. The surrounding Roman columns and stage make this an attractive venue for evening events like poolside live entertainment and activities.

Sports Deck
Located on Deck 13, this is the place for all sun and sports lovers! The Sports Deck offers a variety of ball games such as mini-tennis, basketball and volleyball. For all aspiring golfers, StarVirgo even has five driving ranges! All equipment rental is subject to availability.
Star Deck
Located on Deck 13, this spacious open deck is ideal for all kinds of fun under the sun! Check the Star Navigator for interesting deck games that are held here.
Sun Deck
Located on Deck 13, this open and spacious outdoor observation deck is perfect for star-gazing, or simply enjoying the ocean view and sea breeze!
Universal Gym
Located on Deck 12, passengers can work-out in a spacious, modern and fully equipped gym. All gym users should observe proper sports attire and footwear regulations.

Karaoke Room
There are six private Karaoke Rooms located on Deck 7. It offers the opportunity for passengers to display their vocal talents or just enjoy a singing session with their friends.

MAG Card / Boarding Pass
MAG Card is used as a charge card, a key card and a boarding pass.
Please keep your MAG Card safely. You will nee to use the card upon embarking and disembarking at ports and also present it to collect your passport on arrival at your final destination.
Please remember to bring along your MAG card for all meals.
Mail Service To mail a letter/postcard, passengers may drop off their correspondence at our Reception Deck on Deck 7. The mail will be posted when the ship is at port.

Meals
The cruise fare package includes six meals a day onboard Super Star Virgo. Passengers can have their six meals in our main dining rooms - The Pavilion Room, Bella Vista, Mediterranean Buffet and Terrace - at no additional costs. Complimentary morning and afternoon tea is served daily at designated area. These specialty restaurants also offer a la carte and set menus at nominal charges. For passengers staying in the Balcony Staterooms and Suites, they are entitled to a dining credit of S$300 for the 5-Night cruises, S$200 for the 3-Night cruises and S$100 for the 2-Night cruises. This dining credit is strictly for food in the outlets and is only applicable to fully paid Balcony Staterooms and Suites passengers.
Medical Services If passengers need medical assistance on board, passengers may call at the Medical Center on Deck 4, or the Reception Desk on Deck 7. There is a charge for medical services. For emergency cases, the Doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. A fully equipped medical centre is also available onboard.
Meeting Rooms For passengers who prefer to mix business with pleasure, they would be happy to know that there are seven meeting rooms onboard SuperStar Virgo. The rooms -Boardroom, Rex, Bremen, Normandie, Europa, United States, and Mauritania are convertible to private gaming rooms as required. The Picture House (accommodates 80 passengers) on Deck 8 is also available for corporate training purposes. Rates and information on booking of meeting rooms can be obtained from the Reception Desk on Deck 7.
Movies (In-House) The latest movie selections in English and other international languages are screened 24 hours daily through the in-cabin movie channels. SuperStar Virgo's monthly movie features are listed in the 'Services Directory' placed in all cabins.
Muster Stations Muster Stations are located on Deck 8. These are the passengers' assembly points in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Nightlife The setting sun does not mark the end of the day for Star Cruises. On the contrary, it's the signal to dazzle passengers even more! They may satisfy their hunger and quench their thirst at the restaurants and bars, allow themselves to be entertained by SuperStar Virgo's musicians and bands, attend the international show at the The Lido or Galaxy of the Stars, be enthralled by the latest movies, dance the night away in the Celebrity Disco or serenade that special someone in the Karaoke Rooms.

Pregnancy

Restaurants
1.  Bella Vista
Using only the highest quality and variety of ingredients, this main dining room serves an international selection of gastronomic delights. Comprehensive set menus including vegetarian dishes are offered during lunch and dinner. Fine dining at the beautiful Bella Vista is open to families with children above six only. Located on Deck 6, all of its 636 seats offer a panoramic view of the ocean.
2.  Blue Lagoon
Passengers can snack around the clock in the 24-hour Blue Lagoon, where authentic local and international favorites are served. Located on Deck 7; seating capacity of 50.
3.  Mediterranean Buffet and Terrace
Located on Deck 12, International Buffet is served in this indoor dining room during breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and midnight supper. Passengers who choose to eat here would be treated to a sumptuous array of buffet spread from around the world.
4.  Noble House
This is an elegant restaurant which serves the finest Cantonese herbal dishes a la carte. Unique features of this restaurant are its elaborately painted ceiling panels, a salt-water fish tank, and a show kitchen/ demonstration area. Located on Deck 7. it seats 94 passengers.
5.  Palazzo
An opulent Italian restaurant, Palazzo is the epitome of elegant fine dining with an open kitchen visible to all diners. With a seating capacity of 32, it provides a cosy and romantic ambience for intimate dining. Passengers can choose from a menu of impressive cuisine, or simply trust our hotel Maitre'd to recommend them a dish from our superb menu. Whatever passengers choose, they will be pleasantly surprised by SuperStar Virgo chef's creativity in preparing and presenting their meal. Located on Deck 7, prior reservations to dinner are recommended.
6.  The Pavilion Room
Located on Deck 6, and with a seating capacity of 308, this is the main Chinese dining room of the vessel. Congee and traditional Dim Sum are served during breakfast and lunch, whereas a more elaborate set meal would be served for dinner. The Pavilion Room truly gives passengers a taste of the Orient!
7.  Samurai
Calling all Japanese food lovers! Samurai features both traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes. Samurai has a sushi bar, an enclosed 10-seat Teppanyaki table - the first on the high seas, an eight-seat Tatami room and a small private dining area. Located on Deck 8, it seats 116.
Room Service Continental breakfast and snacks are available throughout the day at nominal charges.

Safe Deposit Box A personal key-safe is available in all cabins. A centralized service may also be requested from the Reception Desk on Deck 7.
Safety To ensure their utmost safety on StarStar Virgo, passengers will be asked to attend an emergency drill on the first day of sailing. It will help them become familiar with the location of their muster station and the lifeboats. The drill will also show them how to wear their life jackets, so that they will be fully prepared in the unlikely event of an emergency.
Security In the interest of safety, all passenger and baggage are screened searched at each port of embarkation. On shore, please be cautioned to guard your luggage closely and not leave them unattended. Passengers are not allowed to take luggage or package on board the ship for other people who are not travelling with them.
Service Charge All food and beverage consumption onboard, other than those inclusive in cruise package, are subject to a 15% service fee on the listed price.

Shopping
Ports O'Call
Located on Deck 8, Ports O' Call is a drugstore, souvenir shop and news kiosk.

Star Boutique
Located on Deck 8, Star Star Boutique offers passengers a selection of accessories, souvenirs, gifts and duty-free items. Passengers will find duty-free goods like perfumes and cosmetics competitively priced; buying onboard also saves them the hassle of shopping ashore so they would have more time to enjoy at their ports of call.

The Gallery
Passengers can view all their professionally-taken pictures captured upon their arrival onboard and throughout the cruise at The Gallery on Deck Deck 8, without any obligation to purchase them. The color and quality of these pictures are excellent. Passengers may also develop their film here for a fee

Shore Excursions Limited seats for shore excursion tours of various ports are available for booking at the Reception Desk on Deck 7. Details of the shore excursions will be posted on the information boards on the ship. These will also be available from the Reception Desk. Tours conducted in languages other then English may be requested if number of passengers is sufficient.
Smoking Smoking is permitted on open decks and in designated public areas only.

Star Navigator Daily Programmes List The Star Navigator is a daily program of activities, entertainment, and social events onboard and is delivered to all cabins every evening. Passengers are encouraged to read it carefully every day to update themselves on what, when and where things are happening.

Teenager's & Children's Centre
1.  Charlie's Child Care Centre
Located on Deck 10, this spacious and thoughtfully furnished child care haven is every child's and every parent's dream. Complete with a Nursery, Sleep and Rest Area, Computer World, Monkey Cage and Play Area, parents can be sure that their children are entertained and well-taken care of. Children would also enjoy being in the Child Care Centre as there is a daily scheduled of activities to interest them.
24- hour childcare services are also available at a nominal charge. Passengers should visit the Reception Desk for further information.
2.  Starlight Cinema
Located on Deck 10, this cinema screens popular movies for kids.
3.  Starlight Video Arcade
Located on Deck 10, this is the ideal place to expend some excess energy! Game tokens are on sale from the token vending machine at the arcade.

Tipping Tipping is not encouraged. SuperStar Virgo friendly staff are trained to serve passengers in every possible way to make their cruise entertaining and memorable. Smiles are the most valuable return passengers can give.
Transit Pass Passengers should produce their Access Cards when collecting their transit passes at each port of call. They will need the transit passes to re-board the vessel at the end of their shore visit. Please ensure that the passes are keep with you while you are ashore.

Wake-up Call Passenger should contact the cruise operator to arrange for wake-up calls. Passengers may also use the in-cabin telephone to set the wake-up call.
Water On board, the water is perfectly safe to drink and passengers will find complimentary bottles of mineral water in their cabins. Additional mineral water requested during the cruise is chargeable to the passenger's account. During shore visits, however, it is preferable to avoid tap water or drinks from street vendors.
Wheelchair Should any passengers require wheelchair assistance during cruise embarkation and disembarkation, please request for one when confirming their cruise booking.
